Job Summary:
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for selling advertising space, creating informative and engaging newsletters for various stakeholders, and managing our social media presence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Advertising Space Sales:
- Identify and target potential advertisers that align with our audience and brand.
- Develop and present advertising packages and proposals to potential clients.
- Prepare and present cost and inclusion models, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both the company and advertisers.
- Maintain relationships with existing advertisers and ensure the fulfillment of advertising agreements.
2. Newsletter Creation and Management:
- Develop and design engaging newsletters tailored to different stakeholder groups, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with company branding and messaging.
- Manage the distribution of newsletters using email marketing platforms and analyze performance metrics to optimize future campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant content and updates for inclusion in newsletters.
3. Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram).
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to improve results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Experience in creating newsletters, selling advertising space, and managing social media accounts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using email marketing platforms and social media management tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of current marketing trends and best practices.
