About the Role:

We are looking for a versatile Data Journalist/Analyst to join our team at The Quantum Insider (TQI). This role is split between reporting and analytical duties, requiring a candidate who can both interpret data and translate it into compelling stories. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and journalism, with the ability to produce insightful commentary and trend stories.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Journalist:

Develop insight stories based on data analysis.
Data journalism stories
Write short trend stories.
Create insightful stories based on input from analysts and leads.
Prepare insightful commentary for newsletters as needed.
Assist in updating and maintaining the quantum technology database.
Write supporting analysis documents
Editorial assistance in TQI and across verticals when needed

Qualifications:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data.
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Familiarity with data visualization tools.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
A background in STEM and journalism or communications is welcomed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in data journalism or a related field.
Commercial knowledge of quantum technology
Proficiency with data analysis software and tools.
Basic knowledge of newsletter software.
