Scope of Work
The Marketing and Program Coordinator will provide marketing and operational support for two dynamic and growing transportation management associations (TMAs), Seaport TMA and Boynton Union Connect TMA. TMAs are non-profit organizations made up of property owners, employers, citizens’ organizations, and municipal partners who are working together to address transportation mobility, access, and congestion reduction.
The Marketing and Outreach Coordinator will split their time evenly each week between the two TMAs. The role requires spending time each week in the Seaport District and the Union Square/Boynton yards area of Somerville. Working in a fast-paced environment under the direction of NorthEase Consulting Group management, the Marketing and Outreach Coordinator will play an important role in executing the tasks included in the annual work plans of these two organizations.
Job Responsibilities
· Create and implement goal driven marketing campaigns designed to increase the use of sustainable transportation options and increase registration in core TMA programs. Track and report on progress toward goals.
· Develop marketing materials (emails, website content, social media).
· Support administration and tracking of participation in TMA programs– including transit programs, bike/walking, telework, carpool/vanpool initiatives, etc.
· Work with the core TMA team to promote, implement, and track surveys and related data and develop marketing media to communicate results.
· Interface with employees, residents and visitors at onsite events, via digital communications (email/texts/online requests), and by telephone
· Work with the core TMA team to develop TMA-branded materials to highlight the value and benefit of TMA membership
· Coordinate with, maintain relationships with, and support local organizations whose work aligns with the TMAs.
· Host TMA-sponsored promotional and bicycle check-up events at member worksites and residential locations.
· Work with members to identify and participate in company health fairs, residential programming events, and other gatherings sponsored by members to promote the TMA, sustainable commuting options, and TMA programs to attendees.
· Work with the team on appropriate promotional giveaways for onsite/online promotional events and for TMA web-based incentive/trip tracking databases.
· Produce content, maintain, and update TMA websites.
· Create content for TMA Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts to maintain an active social media presence that promotes Assembly Connect.
· Assist the team with the development of content for a monthly TMA newsletter to highlight news impacting travel conditions for local infrastructure (transit, biking, and roadway), TMA program/events, local community organization, transportation-related events/news, etc.
· Participate in meetings, programming, and professional development opportunities of local and national transportation demand management (TDM) organizations.
· Additional administrative tasks as needed to support the core TMA team.
Other requirements
· Ability to lift and transport equipment for on-site events.
· Ability to commute to and from the Seaport and Union Square.
· Ability to occasionally spend time outdoors at events for up to 3 hours.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
· 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role.
· Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
· A strong customer service background.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.
· Experience with various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, email marketing and graphic design.
· Creative, eager to learn and a team player
· Ability to travel locally via transit, car, etc., between client locations when needed.
· Familiarity with Salesforce, Canva, Squarespace, Survey Monkey and GIS software a plus
· A desire to make an impact; socially and professionally
Compensation

Salary is based on associate level position, skill set, and number of years of experience.
Annual merit increases are anticipated at 3-5% each year based on annual performance review.
