Company Description
Red Rock Volleyball Club is a competitive volleyball club in the San Francisco Bay Area that offers both indoor and beach volleyball programs for girls and boys. We have teams ranging from 11u through 18u that participate in USAV, JVA, and AAU local, regional and National tournaments. Our club is open to players of all skill levels, from developmental to highly competitive, and is committed to helping each player reach their full potential. We have locations in Redwood City, Danville, Walnut Creek, Alameda, Campbell, and San Francisco, we provide a high-quality volleyball program to our local community.
Coaching Position
This is a part-time and/or full-time on-site role as a Volleyball Head Coach for our Bay Area locations (Redwood City, Walnut Creek, Alameda, Campbell, San Francisco). The Head Coach is responsible for the coaching, training, designing practice plans, developing game strategies, providing technical training, and teaching mental guidance to players on their team(s). The coach will also be responsible for tracking player progress, conducting evaluations, and communicating with parents on their team(s).
Coaching Qualifications
- BA or BS Degree from University is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of volleyball techniques, rules, and strategies
- 3 years of coaching experience at the college or club level.
- Ability to effectively train and motivate players
- Education or certification in coaching or related field
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience working with youth athletes
Operation Management Position
In addition to coaching, Red Rock Volleyball Club is also looking for the right person to help support club operations. The qualified person will help with many core operational responsibilities and needs a diverse background in an array of disciplines.
Management Qualifications
- Advertising and Marketing: design marketing campaigns, design advertisements through email, text, mail, and other formats.
- Newsletter Editor needed to write weekly newsletters for the following programs: indoor, beach, conditioning, college recruiting, etc...
- Social Media Coordinator to help build creative social media content using pictures and videos for Instagram, Tik Tok, and Facebook.
- Strong organizational skills to help with travel logistics for all teams: airfare, hotel, and ground transportation.
- Knowledge with volleyball equipment management and maintenance: Balls, carts, ball machines, setter hoops.
- Designing clothing styles for both girls and boys teams, distribution of clothing to teams, and tracking of clothing inventory.
- Website design and maintenance. Update weekly all seven website for all Red Rock locations.
- A/R collections, billing, Invoicing, and other accounting function. Basic knowledge of accounting is required.
- Other miscellaneous items that randomly come up that needs to be completed. Need a person that is adaptable.
