The Dundee Hills Group, a marketing communications agency group that helps media and entertainment technology companies tell their stories, is looking for an account executive to join the team. The company has physical offices in Salt Lake City and Portland, Oregon, but for all of our 26 year history, most of our employees have worked virtually. We have always been primarily concerned with finding the right people and less concerned about their location.
Job Description
We’re looking for a highly organized person to help drive and keep track of the marketing communications campaigns we carry out for our clients. While this is an entry level position, we want someone who’s motivated to advance and eventually contribute as part of an account team with great ideas on how to promote technology products for business and consumer users. As an account executive, you will work with account managers to find, secure, and track opportunities for our clients to tell their stories in the trade press and consumer publications, to be nominated for various industry awards, to speak at industry conferences, to stand out at trade shows where they’re exhibiting, and to make an impact in social media channels like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
We are well known for the high quality of our writing, and we expect you to pitch in by writing social media posts, trade show previews, emails to editors and clients, and the occasional press release. If you don’t already know how to put together a newsletter or email blast, we need you to be willing to learn. All of our clients are interested in being shown results, so another aspect of your job will involve reporting back to clients on what we’ve accomplished for them.
Marketing communications is a rapidly evolving profession, so expect that your job will evolve as well and be prepared to support your teammates within the agency with a flexible approach to the scope of your primary responsibilities. In return you’ll find a supportive work environment with a strong team spirit and a reputation for excellence in what we do that’s second to none.
