Job Title: Marketing & Social Media Manager (NYC)

Reports To: SVP Brand & Creative


Job Overview:


The Madison Melle Agency is seeking a creative and strategic Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead internal and client-facing marketing initiatives across digital and social platforms. This role is ideal for someone who blends strong brand instincts with a deep understanding of the social landscape — from content calendars and campaign strategy to platform trends and community building. This role is full-time in our New York City office.


The ideal candidate is based in and thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative agency environment. They are equally comfortable crafting compelling captions, ideating campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and showing up to industry activations or on-site client content shoots.


Key Responsibilities:

·      Own and manage content calendars for agency and client social channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)

·      Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across social, email, and digital platforms

·      Collaborate with design and strategy teams to produce best-in-class visual and written assets

·      Write platform-native, on-brand copy for posts, emails, stories, and campaign launches

·      Track analytics, compile performance reports, and optimize based on data insights

·      Conduct social listening and trend research to inform content strategy

·      Oversee influencer and partnership activations from outreach to content delivery

·      Coordinate event-based or on-location social coverage, including content capture support

·      Draft case studies, marketing decks, and campaign wrap-ups that showcase ROI and storytelling

·      Help shape the agency’s marketing voice and brand presence across channels


Qualifications & Character Traits:


·      3–5 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or brand strategy

·      Deep knowledge of social platforms, trends, and algorithm behavior

·      Excellent writing skills with a strong editorial voice and attention to detail

·      Proficient in tools such as Later, Sprout Social, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Canva, Adobe Suite

·      Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury verticals preferred

·      Enthusiastic, trend-aware, and proactive in bringing creative ideas to the table

·      Confident presenting strategy, performance insights, and creative concepts

·      Comfortable attending NYC-based shoots, activations, and hybrid meetings

·      Highly organized, self-starting, and solutions-oriented

·      Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
