Position Available: Data Analyst
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Lead Data Analyst, the Data Analyst will ensure quality and on-time delivery of FRG data processing obligations by executing, maintaining, and documenting high quality code to process customer health care data. This position requires attention to detail, good troubleshooting skills, and an affinity for programming in data analytics.
Responsibilities:
Data Production Duties
o Develop queries, stored procedures, and scripts to process unstructured and semi-structured health care data.
o Identify logic errors and data anomalies and correct in conjunction with the Lead Data Analyst.
o Maintain up-to-date documentation for all production processes.
Quality Assurance Duties
o Adhere to strict quality assurance processes.
o Identify data variances, troubleshoot sources, and propose corrective action as necessary.
Other Relevant Duties
o Perform ad-hoc analyses as necessary.
o Develop functional understanding of product features, use and fit in client toolbox.
Requirements:
· 2 years’ experience or more in information technology and data processing with strong emphasis on problem solving.
· Good Knowledge of Python, Linux, MySQL or any relational database management systems and Git
· Familiar with Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools, Docker, DBT or other data modeling tool, SAS
· Hands-on capability in writing advanced SQL queries
· Metrics driven and results-oriented with demonstrated analytical skills;
· Team player with a strong "customer-focus" orientation and excellent project management and communications skills;
· Demonstrated ability to collaborate with related project teams across functional areas;
· Demonstrated success in creating and executing complex data automation tasks;
· Strong time and resource allocation management to meet production schedules;
· A self-starter with attention to detail and strong follow-through capabilities;
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take ownership of duties and work well under deadlines;
· Excellent analytical, conceptual and creative problem-solving skills;
· Proven experience using database management systems and office computer applications for ad hoc analysis to provide progress reporting on initiatives;
· Knowledge of healthcare finance information systems a plus.
