Our Retired Community client is looking for a very communicative, organized, collaborative
WordPress CMS Developer so support their website with updates and new content intermittently!
Role will likely ~5 hours/month ongoing with some potential for a few additional hours here and there when more updates are needed.
This WordPress CMS Developer Will Be
- Delivering monthly website performance reports by the 5th of each month, including unique visitors, time on site, and most visited pages
- Updating the photo gallery with new event images and captions, typically in April and October or as needed
- Adding and revising events on the calendar, ensuring the site reflects the most up-to-date scheduling
- Keeping the Upcoming Events section current, adjusting as new information becomes available
- Updating contact information in the Contact Us section, routing inquiries to the appropriate team members
- Monitoring overall site functionality, troubleshooting issues, and resolving errors quickly
- Executing redesigns and special projects as requested
- Uploading recurring reports and documentation, including: Monthly meeting agendas, monthly, quarterly, and annual treasurer reports, Annual budget and meeting materials
- Posting the newsletter after its finalized and distributed
- Responding to special content or data requests, pulling reports or updating site content as needed
Skills And Experience
- Minimum 3+ years with experience managing or maintaining content-heavy WordPress websites
- Proven ability in adding and adjust content including photos, copy and reports in a CMS
- Familiarity with basic troubleshooting and error resolution with in WordPress platform
- Comfort handling both recurring updates and last-minute content requests
- Clear, proactive communication with multiple internal stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
