Marketing Coordinator – Part-Time & Flexible

📍 Location: Hybrid (Remote & On-Site at The White Home, Rock Hill, SC)

💰 Compensation: $950/month

Are you a creative and strategic marketing professional with a passion for social media, content creation, and community engagement? Do you love bringing history to life through compelling digital storytelling? Historic Rock Hill is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to elevate our brand, expand our online presence, and attract new audiences to our historic venue and events.

This flexible, part-time role offers the opportunity to work remotely while also collaborating in person at The White Home as needed. You’ll report to the Executive Director and Event Director and play a key role in shaping our marketing strategy.

What You’ll Do:

Social Media Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and manage engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest for two accounts
  • Create and monitor Google, Facebook, and Instagram boosted ads
  • Track social media growth, engagement, and campaign success


Content Creation & Marketing Materials:

  • Design visually appealing marketing materials (posters, brochures, press releases, postcards, etc.) using Canva
  • Craft and distribute a weekly e-newsletter via Mailchimp
  • Write compelling blog posts and website content to engage members and potential event venue clients


Website Management & Community Engagement:

  • Maintain and update two Squarespace websites
  • Capture and share content from special events to enhance social media storytelling
  • Identify and engage key community members and influencers to boost our reach


What We’re Looking For:

 ✔ Proven experience managing professional social media accounts

✔ Strong writing and communication skills

✔ Excellent time management and attention to detail

✔ Proficiency in Canva, Squarespace, Instagram, Facebook, and Mailchimp

✔ Passion for local history

Experience marketing an upscale event venue (preferred!)
