Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for a Fashion AI Image Generation, Retouching and Ecommerce Photography role at SemSem. The role primarily focuses on AI image generation for social media and ecommerce, and retouching ecommerce flats and on-model photography, while also occasionally executing photographs and videos for both social media and ecommerce. This internship provides hands-on experience in high-end fashion ecommerce, photography, retouching, and design offering insight into luxury garment construction and the standards of digital imagery in the industry. 

It’s a dynamic, small business where our employees wear multiple hats. 

Responsibilities:

• Generate AI imagery using a combination of programs
• Retouch campaign & ecommerce images (flats and on-model) to meet brand standards
• Optimize, sharpen, and refine existing ecommerce flats
• Remove clothing wrinkles and enhance image details in Photoshop
• Adjust lighting, color, and refine garment silhouettes and details
• Replace backgrounds
• Retouch editorial and newsletter imagery as needed to match garment designs
• Maintain an organized and efficient workflow to support project deadlines
• Collaborate on photoshoots and video productions for marketing, social media, and e-commerce. 
• Develop creative concepts for digital content in line with our brand aesthetic.

Requirements:

• An extroverted, outgoing personality with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Fashion Photography skills
• Understanding of luxury fashion and garment construction is a plus
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for fashion retouching and image editing
• Strong attention to detail and creativity
• Interest in fashion, photography, social media, e-commerce, and marketing
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment of a small business. 
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to take creative direction
• Pursuing a degree or certification in Photography, Digital Retouching, Fashion, Graphic Design, or related areas
