Marketing Intern

Internship Description:

A.O. Reed & Co. is seeking interns interested in pursuing a career in Marketing. Our program will expose the interns to all areas of marketing, including public relations, content marketing, event planning, social media marketing, digital marketing, sponsorships, proposal creation, and more.

Overall, the intern will work hand-in-hand with the company’s Marketing Lead. This internship will expose the intern to a range of activities, from assisting in the creation of multi-million-dollar proposals to event planning. It will also allow the intern to assist in the marketing efforts of three offices based in Southern California. Every day will be a new challenge and opportunity to gain experience.

This internship is a six-week program. The internship will start on June 23rd, 2025, and end on August 8^th, 2025. All interns will be paid $20 per hour.

Some of the tasks our program includes:

·      Create content for social media accounts.

·      Create content for companywide websites.

·      Create companywide announcements.

·      Create company flyers.

·      Assist in the proposal creation process.

·      Document, create content, and execute spotlights for construction & service projects.

·      Create content for the companywide newsletter.

·      Assist in designing and purchasing company merchandise.

·      Assist in event planning.

·      Assist with the rebranding plan of our new LA and Anaheim offices.

·      Assist with the creation and execution of the company templates.

·      Assist in formulating the company marketing plan.

·      Conduct marketing research and analysis on assigned projects.

Qualifications

-      Pursuing or having achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business.

-      Strong communication and writing skills.

-      Basic understanding of photography.

-      Collaborates well with others.

-      Strong design capabilities.

-      Must be able to commute to a jobsite, when necessary.

-      Must be comfortable going to a construction site.

-      Understanding of the following Adobe Programs: Adobe Lightroom, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop.
