Liskow, a law firm with offices in Louisiana, Texas, and New York, seeks a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join its marketing and business development team. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator role is responsible for the firm’s creative initiatives, social media accounts, online presence, legal rankings, and firm and attorney nominations.
Responsibilities include:
Digital Communications
- Oversee and update the firm’s website to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with industry trends.
- Draft attorney bios and collaborate with new attorneys to enhance their social media presence.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the website’s functionality and user experience.
- Design and execute email marketing campaigns and newsletters using the firm’s email marketing platform (Vuture).
Design
- Maintain the firm’s brand graphic identity, including color palettes, fonts, imagery, visuals, and templates.
- Lead the creative development of marketing materials and templates, including firm collateral and pitches, presentations, invitations, publications, signage, business cards, stationery, website content, and other media.
- Update advertising materials and submit to state bar associations as needed.
- Work with others in the firm to manage the firm’s stationary stock and order other printed marketing materials as needed.
Social Media
- Work with the Marketing Director to develop and execute a strategic social media plan that supports business objectives.
- Maintain a content calendar and create social media posts.
- Utilize Clearview Social to optimize LinkedIn engagement among attorneys and employees.
- Monitor social media accounts, respond to comments and messages, and encourage firm-wide participation.
- Track and analyze engagement metrics across digital and social media channels, providing insights to enhance future campaigns and posts.
- Train attorneys on best practices for social media use in business development and brand-building.
Rankings and Nominations
- Prepare and manage submissions for key directory rankings and awards, including but not limited to Chambers, Best Lawyers, Legal 500, and Benchmark Litigation. Oversee editorial calendar and track survey due dates.
- Manage attorney and firm nominations for legal and industry awards as well as local publications.
Miscellaneous
- Perform other marketing and business development related responsibilities and projects as necessary.
- Gather content and draft and distribute the firm’s internal marketing newsletter.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of marketing or communications experience required. Professional services experience preferred.
- Experience with Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite is required.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are essential.
