As a communications specialist on our team, you’ll closely impact the development of creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to provide tailored assistance.

As a collaborator on all aspects of verbal and written communications, you’ll author a variety of communications products, including newsletter articles, fact sheets, presentation materials, website content, or promotional resources. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words, images, and sound with various tools.

You Have:  

• 3+ years of experience providing communications support to clients, including technical writing and editing
• Experience with webinar production and logistics
• Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate, and exhibit technical expertise
• Ability to research and draft original content for a variety of communications channels, vehicles, and audiences, while adjusting voice and information levels to suit audience needs
• Ability to learn new software tools and increase knowledge over time
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED
  
  
  

Nice If You Have:  

• Experience managing a public-facing web presence, including content management and development
• Experience with project management
• Ability to contribute to the development and maintenance of communication materials
• Ability to work with limited supervision and with project partners and stakeholders
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
  
  

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
