Konik is partnering with a general contractor in the west metro that is seeking to add a Project Manager to their team. Our client works on commercial construction projects including renovations, interior build-outs, and ground-up developments.
Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously, ranging from small-scale renovations to larger, multi-million-dollar builds
Develop project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work to ensure alignment with client expectations and company standards
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate project execution and resolve any issues that arise
Manage the submittal process, ensuring that all required documentation is properly reviewed and approved before submission to design teams
Monitor construction progress and conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with specifications, safety regulations, and project timelines
Prepare cost estimates and assist in project pricing, ensuring appropriate margins and feasibility
Review subcontractor bids and scopes to confirm accuracy and alignment with project needs
Lead project meetings, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and ensure clear and professional communication at all stages of the project
Construction Project Manager Qualifications:
7+ years of construction management experience, with at least 2-3 years in a project engineering or similar role involving detailed project documentation and coordination
Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, including pre-construction, budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor management
Experience working as a general contractor or within trade specialties such as framing, drywall, mechanical, electrical, or plumbing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain strong client relationships and ensure clarity in project documentation
