Digital Marketing Associate is a key contributor to the strategic growth and innovation of our marketing team, bringing expertise in digital marketing trends and tools to elevate the firm’s brand visibility and online presence. This role is designed for someone eager to grow within a collaborative team while making a measurable impact on our marketing initiatives, and owning our website and social media platforms.
As the team’s digital marketing expert, you will stay ahead of SEO, AI, and social media trends, proactively implementing cutting-edge strategies and bringing actionable insights to the team. Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Innovation
- Own the firm’s digital presence, ensuring consistent, strategic management of the website and social media channels.
- Serve as the go-to expert on SEO, AI, and digital marketing trends, researching and presenting actionable recommendations to the team.
- Analyze digital performance metrics and identify opportunities to enhance lead generation, brand visibility, and audience engagement.
- Collaborate on strategic initiatives that integrate the latest tools and insights into broader marketing goals.
Social Media Management
- Develop and execute a results-driven social media strategy aligned with firm goals.
- Maintain and optimize a content calendar, drafting, and scheduling posts using HubSpot.
- Design engaging graphics, write compelling captions, and monitor platform analytics to optimize growth and engagement.
- Experiment with emerging platforms and formats to ensure the firm’s social media presence remains relevant and engaging.
Website Ownership & SEO Management
- Take full ownership of website and intranet updates, ensuring a seamless user experience with timely content, multimedia updates, and technical accuracy.
- Execute SEO strategies, including optimizing content, tracking analytics, and improving search rankings to drive organic traffic.
- Regularly audit and enhance the website to align with marketing goals and support lead generation.
Content Creation & Multimedia Projects
- Design visually engaging social media posts, event invitations, banners, and recruitment materials using Canva.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce industry-relevant content, including short-form posts, videos, blog entries and podcasts.
- Capture and produce event photos and videos, managing the full production process from ideation to publication.
- Support multimedia projects like podcasts, video series, and interactive landing pages.
Email Marketing & Communication
- Draft and execute firm-wide communications, including marketing updates, event invites, and onboarding materials.
- Manage external communications, including the monthly Tonneson Trends newsletter, internal Tonneson Times newsletter, and other targeted emails through HubSpot.
- Collaborate with BD Committee to reach out to defined targets in campaigns.
- Collaborate with Recruiting Committee to A/B test outreach to college campus contacts.
- Utilize marketing automation workflows for efficient follow-ups and task tracking.
HR & Recruitment Collaboration
- Partner with HR on job postings, career fair branding, and showing Tonneson as the firm people want to work.
- Manage recruitment pipeline tracking in HubSpot and automated workflows for communication.
- Support onboarding with marketing materials, employee bios, and welcome packages to create a seamless new-hire experience.
How Will You Get Here? Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok).
- Advanced graphic design skills with experience in Canva (required); InDesign a plus.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, marketing automation tools, and CRM systems preferred.
- Knowledge of WordPress or other website management tools and SEO principles preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and propose strategic changes.
- Exceptional creativity, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and add value to a vibrant team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
