The Command Purpose Foundation (formerly known as The Command Presence Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and values-based community that supports veteran women through their transition from military to civilian life. We equip our members to continuously rediscover their command presence through holistic, tailored, programming, including workshops, retreats, and member-led engagements.

Job Description:

As the Director of Events you will work directly with the Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer to create timelines for events and planning, supervise two events associates that will communicate directly with participants of events and programs, and coordinate logistics planning and execution of events.

Job Responsibilities:

Leading the execution of events. This includes reserving facilities, preparing event materials, on-site support with speakers and/or partners, organizing attendees, etc.
Working with the Executive Director, Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Curriculum and Content Manager on pre-planning of events. This includes preparing speakers and/or partners, preparing attendees with information and materials, etc.
Sharing event details with the Marketing Associate and Director of Membership to share via our marketing channels (e.g. CRM email/newsletter, website, etc.) to ensure accurate and prompt care to the Command Presence community.
Working with the Executive Director and Chief Strategy Officer to identify outreach and partnership opportunities with local organizations, strengthening CP offerings to membership.
Supervising two event associates that help execute emailing of information, mailing materials, and preparing in person locations for events with food, swag, materials, etc.
