The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles' ( "Department” or "FLHSMV”), Division of Information Systems Administration (ISA) is seeking the services of an experienced consultant to act as a Web Designer/SharePoint developer for the Department's Information Technology SharePoint website. The Web Designer/SharePoint developer must be able to create and configure SharePoint websites, find solutions to enhance business activity and customize websites based on customer needs. The Web Designer/SharePoint developer shall have proven experience with customer interactions and an understanding of business application and business data flow.

Experience:
•3+ years experience in a SharePoint developer role using SharePoint online/O365 or SharePoint on Premise.
•3+ years experience in business systems analyst, implementation and management
•3+ years experience in SharePoint framework building sites
•3+ years experience building SharePoint workflows
•Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately.
•Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
•Ability to be flexible, resourceful, organized and work in a fast paced business environment with special requests.
•Basic knowledge and understanding of SDLC process, performing unit testing, and packaging to deploy from DEV to PROD environments.

Tasks and Activities:
The Web Designer/SharePoint developer will serve as the principal line of communication for the project team and shall perform, at a minimum, the tasks and/or activities described below:
a.Work with the Department's Contract Manager to serve as the primary point of contact to ensure that start-up activities are completed within fourteen (14)
days prior to the performance of services. Start-up activities include Department's fingerprint background check and online information security training security requirements;
b.Build new landing page, department templates/pages, newsletters, head/banner, and videos accessible from any device;
c.Lead end users, division representatives and management in understanding and documenting functional business requirements and workflows;
d.Develop, document and implement standards, policies and guidelines for the use of SharePoint and incorporate relevant elements of such policies into system design.
e.Perform duties as indicated below: 1)Converting business requirements into SharePoint pages and workflows;
2)Develop web pages to provide a progressive look including branding on a SharePoint platform;
3)Build a new landing page, department templates/pages, newsletter, header/banner, and videos that will be accessible from any device;
4)Implement, test, and deploy the new intranet SharePoint site;
5)Create web parts, lists/library, content types, site columns, master pages, search navigation, permissions, and data management;
6)Build workflow forms using SharePoint Designer or Nintex Workflows;
7)Code pages using HTML and JavaScript to match approved mockups. f.Liaise with development teams, technical and business staff;
g.Prepare system documentation, computer training materials and user manuals;
h.Train end-users in the use of new workflows.
