Job Description:

As a valued member of the Marketing team, the Marketing Product & Brand Manager will be a seasoned Digital Marketing leader who has the know-how and leadership skills to translate hyper-growth goals into actionable marketing roadmaps with an emphasis on scaling core Marketing KPIs, and other marketing data analytics.

Reporting directly to Marketing Leadership, the Marketing Product & Brand Manager will also have matrixed accountability to divisional leadership at Cogo Capital, driving strategic prioritization for marketing initiatives that drive service and product-line growth, as well as new solutions creation.

About You:

You are a visionary and tenacious leader who enjoys a quick, ever-changing environment and can scale the Cogo Capital brand through disciplined data analysis and product marketing management. Your leadership insights will be required across these marketing disciplines: go-to-market strategy for new products, multi-channel marketing strategy (social, search, email, blog, SEO, etc.), website CRO strategy, and marketing data analysis.

What you will do:

Multi-Channel Marketing ROI - Monitor the end-to-end management of Cogo Capital’s multi-channel marketing initiatives, both on and offline, to consistently acquire new, quality leads at our target CACs. Main channels include (organic and paid social, paid search, email, blog, SEO, etc.). You are the brand’s data analytics lead.

Conversion Rate Optimization - Drive marketing activities with data and an A/B testing mental framework. Always be on the look-out for optimizations within the brand’s marketing funnels.

Cogo Capital’s Roadmap Building - Build and execute a marketing roadmap within a set budget that meets critical goals set by leadership in these areas: revenue, marketing KPIs, and new feature launches.

Lifecycle Marketing/Email – In support of the VP of Marketing, Lead the team to experiment with marketing/sales projects that impact our customer journeys. Projects may include changes to digital content, email automation, or website form/landing page optimizations.

Brand Content Strategy and SEO - Using data analytics, create written or video content that could drive awareness, consideration, purchase, and retention to support marketing goals.

Based on data analysis, be the voice of the customer and the market, suggesting collateral, landing pages, webinars, FAQs, landing pages, and videos that drive awareness and purchase.

Applied Skills

Work with Cogo Capital leadership to elevate brand visibility and generate leads for their sales team
Manage schedule for events and content calendar. Includes producing a monthly live event and newsletter.
Create emails and publishing schedule to promote events, products, and lead capture opportunities
Work with outside social media team to provide content and resources for regular postings
Work with in-house brand team members to generate ideas for content pieces, including written and video formats
Do keyword research for optimization opportunities for website content as well as ad campaigns
Manage (hands-on) Google or FB ad campaigns or manage outside agencies running those campaigns
Create email drip and nurture campaigns
Manage projects across teams and drive others to hit milestones
Promote and create campaigns for info products and special events
Create landing pages for products and content
Collect metrics and create reporting for products and campaigns
Schedule and manage a weekly marketing meeting and other meetings as needed
Work with designers for printed collateral when needed
Work with videographers for video production when needed

Our ideal candidate has:

3+ years of experience in a brand marketing or digital marketing role as an individual contributor and/or leader.
3+ years’ experience owning and defending performance for at least one core marketing channel (i.e., Paid Social, Paid Search, Email, or other)
2+ years’ experience in product management and roadmap development
Effective communication and listening skills
Understanding of the omni-channel nature of marketing in today's competitive environment
Knowledge of Google and Facebook advertising
Basic understanding of Google GA4 and how to pull metrics for reporting
Working knowledge of HubSpot
Excellent copywriting and editing skills
Working knowledge of ClickFunnels
Excellent knowledge of WordPress
Knowledge of real estate investing and private money lending a plus
