Project Manager, Pharma’s Almanac (That’s Nice)

We are seeking candidates for the role of Project Manager for our content platform, Pharma’s Almanac, supporting the generation of industry, scientific, and research-based content for digital promotion including client-owned strategic content (thought leadership), as well as earned, editorial-based coverage.

The Project Manager will assist in successful management of all projects associated with Pharma’s Almanac programs and products:

1) www.PharmasAlmanac.com

2) The Pharma’s Market e-newsletter

3) Individual, client-based content campaigns

4) The Pharma’s Almanac TV video interview and audio podcast series

5) Co-branded webinars for Pharma’s Almanac and client contributors

6) Forthcoming Pharma’s Almanac programs and products

7) Some That’s Nice projects adjacent to Pharma’s Almanac and involving members of the Pharma’s Almanac team, such as Nice Insight (Research) research reports.

The role will also interact with the Research, Project Management, and Accounts teams to execute content based on client needs and developed from the work performed by Research (Nice Insight).

We are looking for an individual with 2–4 years of experience in project management, strong organizational skills, and an attention to detail. An outgoing personality and customer facing-experience will be useful, as well as an interest in the exciting and ever-evolving pharma/biopharma industry and its associated network of business-to-business service providers.

Candidate Requirements – Project Manager, Pharma’s Almanac

In order to perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

§ 2–4 years of experience project management or analogous role

§ 2+ years of experience in customer-facing role (including retail and service)

§ Comfort with a variety of internal and customer communications

§ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

§ The ability to interpret customer needs, then communicating internally and working with the full project team, providing ideas and the written aspect of solutions. Understanding of client's subject matter, language, and messaging is important.

§ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as project management software (e.g., Monday, TeamWork)

§ Ability to work as part of a team with shared goals

§ Comfort working within a team of account managers, researchers, designers, editors, writers, and other roles, integrating and compromising effectively on project management with the common goal of exceeding each client’s needs and expectations.

§ Experience with online publication platforms, magazines, etc. is a plus.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

For all editorial management projects:
Develop and carry out comprehensive client-facing and internal schedules for article publication, eblast deployment, podcast publication, video production, and webinar promotional campaigns and launches, involving cross-functional logistics across copywriting, design, programming, and other departments.
Effectively communicate project information to client stakeholders and Pharma’s Almanac team members and continually follow up in a timely fashion with all parties to ensure deadlines are met.
Carry out currently defined project management processes but suggest workflow optimizations as opportunity arises.

Select and schedule content for the Pharma’s Almanac newsletter.

Production of Pharma’s Almanac articles and related promotional content:
Liaise with clients on an ongoing basis to align on publishing schedules, gather visual assets, and coordinate the review and approval of commissioned content.
Launch articles and related content on the Pharma’s Almanac website.
Manage the production of copy, design assets, and programming for promotional eblasts, banner ads, and landing pages associated with client articles.

· Co-branded webinars for Pharma’s Almanac and client contributors

Manage webinar promotional campaigns end-to-end and coordinate the creation of visual assets and copy associated with webinar launch, working with client stakeholders; the Pharma’s Almanac sales, design, and copywriting teams; and external vendors.

· The Pharma’s Almanac TV video interview and audio podcast series:

Oversee the production of the Pharma’s Almanac TV video series and the Pharma’s Almanac podcast, including coordinating the recording, editing, web hosting, launch, lead capture, and associated promotional campaigns for videos and podcast episodes.

Associated projects with the That’s Nice agency:
Support the Nice Insight market research team in coordinating the production of market reports.
Support the accounts, sales, and digital marketing teams with reporting lead data pulled from the Pharma’s Almanac digital platform.
Support the accounts and sales teams to coordinate the video editing, client approval, and digital publication processes for Pharma’s Almanac and That’s Nice’s annual “Road to” video campaign.

Hours of Work & Office Policies

Typical office hours are 9.00am – 6.00pm, but additional hours may be necessary as project needs demand.

Work Environment
The project manager role is based at our office on Fifth Avenue, near Union Square in New York, NY.
This role is office-based, in an open space with other staff, visitors in and out and occasionally music playing, which creates a lively environment. The successful candidate must be comfortable that they can work effectively on content development in these circumstances.
The project manager will need to read, understand and follow standard office practices, procedures and policies.
