Part Time Marketing Assistant

Morgan King Real Estate Group, Inc. with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties is looking for a part-time Marketing Assistant who will be the support lead on all things! This role is fun, dynamic, and offers opportunities to continually grow and learn. It requires someone who is open minded, has a positive mindset, and enjoys connecting with others. This person will excel in this role if they are organized, a quick learner, can manage tasks under specific deadlines, and is a self-starter. The role is located within the La Jolla, California area, but is primarily remote. The position responsibilities can vary dependent on the applicant’s skill set and will evolve over time. Currently, responsibilities include:

Support in the creation and execution of all marketing materials which includes and is not limited to social media assets, video, monthly digital newsletter, website updates, and print material.
Execute tasks to support business development such as sending promotional mailers through third party, and management of client gifting strategy.
Assist in annual client appreciation event from ideation to execution including securing event venue, determining guest list, confirming attendees, marketing event, post marketing event, onsite gifting, etc.
Assist in scheduling appointments and obtaining signatures on relevant documents to support any business-related activity.
Assist in the development of marketing strategy and timeline for listings.
Attend educational courses to build on skill set.
Manage bookkeeping and receipt capture.
Manage client review process.
Assist on podcast outreach and promotion.
Assist on lease and rental transactions.

Marketing Assistant Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in marketing and the real estate industry preferred.
Flexible schedule that’s available evenings and weekends as needed.
Has knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Squarespace.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Self starter and is comfortable working autonomously.
