Position Summary

The Marketing, Development, and Communications Coordinator assists in the development and execution of market campaigns and fundraising events, in accordance with the Heartland Health Services’ (HHS) mission, strategic goals, federal and state laws and regulations, performance and outcome objectives, and accreditation standards.

Essential Functions

Develops and manages annual marketing and communications plan both internally and externally, budget and brand awareness.
Manages HHS online presence including (but not limited to) website development and maintenance, social media, Google maps, Google reviews, email inquiries from the website, & search engine optimization.
Plans and executes all web, social media, database marketing, e-marketing, and events.
Plans, develops, creates proofreads and distributes marketing materials. Materials include but are not limited to marketing collateral (flyers, posters, brochures, emails, text) for all services, fundraising events, and Outreach and Enrollment. As well as creation and distribution of Annual Report, new patient handbook, etc. to ensure the HHS branding standards are being met.
Plans, writes, creates, proofreads content and distribution of press releases to media outlets, newsletters and database marketing for the Community, Donors, and Internal customers, and content for print, online and social media.
Tracks progress, analyzes results, measures, and reports on efficiency of all HHS marketing campaigns.
Works with various internal departments and teams to develop and monitor HHS marketing initiatives.
Research and stay current on digital marketing trends, best practices, and technologies.
Conducts market research through surveys and questionaries and analyzes trends to identify new marketing opportunities.
Oversees donor platform, database, communications, and relations.
Development of monthly donor newsletter.
Leads and assists with developing different fundraising ideas and opportunities and the promotion of.
Analyzes and reports on fundraising outcomes to determine effectiveness for future endeavors.
Researches and identifies prospective new donors and proactively initiates funding opportunities and sponsorships. Also assists with the retention of current donors and/or sponsors. Keeps donor database current and up to date.
Maintains and assures strictest confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HHS’s policies.
Oversees Marketing Specialist to direct and assist with projects and deadlines accordingly.
Supports clinic compliance with signage and communications on all applicable federal, state, local, and HHS rules, regulations, protocols, and procedures governing the clinical provision of medical services, workplace safety, public health, and confidentiality.
Performs any clerical duty or department related task as assigned by supervisor in a continuously changing medical practice.
Attends all staff meetings, department meetings, and any other meetings as required.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
Experience with web design & content production preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Constant Contact (or similar) and Hootsuite (or similar) preferred.
Must have social media and web site content management experience. Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Google Analytics required. HTML preferred, but not necessary.
Event management and organization experience is preferred.
Have a strong commitment to programs and services that address community issues.
Solid understanding of project management principles including (but not limited to) strong organization and prioritization skills.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
Attention to detail with a high level of organization.
Ability to work well in a team environment, handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change and solve problems.
Empathy and understanding of those in need or at risk.
Ability to leave a personal agenda aside for the common good.
Ability to travel to all locations and to meetings outside the service area; core hours with flex time required.

Salary Description

$45,000 - $60,000 per year
