Employee Communications Associate, Employee Experience Team

Fastly’s Employee Experience team is on a mission to provide an engaging and motivating employee experience where every Fastlyan feels informed, connected, and valued. We design, curate, and deliver global programs and experiences that fuel employee success, which ultimately drives Fastly’s success. The work of the Employee Experience team includes, employee listening, workplace experience, health and safety, change management and employee communications.

The Communicatons Associate will help execute the internal communications strategy by partnering with teammates and other key stakeholders to create and deliver compelling events and communications, including All Hands, Fastly Newsletter, Slack, and other channels. In this position youʼll help bring Fastlyʼs mission, vision and values to life for our employees as a trusted partner to key leaders and creative storyteller with a constant pulse on what is top of mind for employees.

What You'll Do

Curate and deliver effective regular written communications, like monthly employee newsletter, Monday digest, emails from senior leadership
Plan and coordinate logistics for regular communications events like monthly All Hands, quarterly People Leader and Executive Forums
Track and analyze effectiveness of communications channels
Support Comms team in executing team processes or other ad hoc projects/needs
Develop and manage a network of internal stakeholders to identify interesting content and shape internal story-telling at Fastly aligned to our employee communications strategy

What We're Looking For

2-4 years experience in an event planning, operations, or communications role
You have exemplary communication skills, including excellent writing skills and outstanding attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships, including with senior leaders
Passionate collaborator who loves to brainstorm and leans into new challenges and opportunities
You possess an aptitude for staying focused on priorities in a fast-paced environment and pride yourself on your ability to consistently meet deadlines
You’re a problem solver. If you’ve never done it before, you jump in head first. You are proactive, resourceful and accountable
Ability to travel on a quarterly basis if located outside of San Francisco

Work Hours

This position will require you to be available during core business hours.

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.

There is a strong preference for Hybrid near a local office (San Francisco preferred). However, we may be willing to consider remote candidates within the US.

This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $71,350 to $100,728.

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
