dcdx is seeking an Editorial Intern to bring on ASAP to help us build out a very special weekly newsletter and/or podcast. We're looking for an inspiring, energetic, and conversational Gen Z'er with a passion for connecting with people, getting deep and writing meaningful stories.

You'll be responsible for helping us launch a new program featuring a weekly interview with a Gen Z'er in both podcast and written format.

This will be a part-time and paid 14-week initiative, with the opportunity to continue on with us after!

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, launch, and manage a weekly journal focused on showcasing Gen Z perspectives on a variety of relevant topics.
Source and engage with Gen Z interviewees for the journal.
Conduct compelling and insightful interviews that engage both the interviewee and the audience.
Handle all aspects of post-production, including editing and publishing of podcast episodes and written newsletters.
Collaborate with our team to ensure the conversations align with our brand and reach our target audience.

Qualifications:

Experience in journalism, market research, podcasting, or a related field.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the podcast initiative.
Proficient in podcast editing and publishing software.
Exceptional communication skills and an engaging conversational style.
Demonstrated understanding of the Gen Z audience and culture.
Strong motivation, creativity, and a goal-oriented mindset.
