This position is a six-month contract.

CIO Liaison and Project Lead will be an individual contributor role reporting directly to the CIO. The role’s principal objective is to support the CIO in the delivery of his role. This means acting on behalf of the CIO to deliver tasks and objectives, conduct meetings on behalf of the CIO, and to take the lead on important projects where the CIO does not have capacity to do so.

This role will involve interacting with the wider IT team, suppliers and partners, and Cove staff members across all levels of the business.

Adaptability and a broad skill set are essential for success in this role.

This role will preferably be based in our head office in Phoenix, but candidates in Florida or California will also be of interest. For exceptional candidates, fully remote working may be considered. Travel to Phoenix and Florida will be required from time-to-time (<10% of time).

Candidate profile

Adaptability and a broad skill set are essential for success in this role. Candidates who can provide examples of these attributes in previous roles will be of particular interest.
Experience of working in a similar role supporting a senior IT Leader in the delivery of his/her objectives.
Domain experience in Manufactured Housing, RV resorts, real estate, hotel, vacation, or entertainment resorts would be preferred.
Exposure to fast-paced growth environments.
Exposure to working within companies with hands-on external investors.
Experience of Project Leadership in a distributed, matrix business.
Exposure to disciplined Project Management processes (PM qualification would be of interest).
Relevant degree, OR a minimum of four (4) years in a similar technology role, OR any equivalent combinations of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Exemplary written and spoken communication skills.
Ability to personally prepare executive-leadership ready deliverables and presentations.
Successful history of working independently and autonomously while being a valued collaborator with strong relationships.
Action-oriented with a keen sense of accountability and ability to prioritize, problem solve and remain poised, positive, and productive in high-pressure situations.
Demonstrable ability to dissect a situation to gain complete understanding to the lowest level of detail.
Ability to proactively suggest changes that will improve the CIO’s ability to deliver on the company’s Strategic Objectives.
